Senior Penetration Tester - Remote with Travel 5 days ago Requisition ID: 1130 Position Title : - Senior Security Engineer (Senior Penetration Tester) Description: Delivers consulting project activities, ranging from problem identification through final project close-out through medium to long term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture assessment, application and/or network security assessment, security testing, client interaction, solution deployment and cost/schedule monitoring. - This work is remote but requires 25% travel within the United States. Requirements Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience Experience:
    • Five to eight years direct related work experience Required Skills:
      • 8 or more years of technical experience required, including at least 5 years in security services.
      • Strong analytical skills required
      • Must have direct experience in performing network and/or application security assessments including:
      • Network or Application Vulnerability Assessments
      • Penetration Tests
      • Network or Application Architecture Assessments
      • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to:
      • Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals
      • Document procedures that conform to a prescribed style and format
      • Present information to management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Preferred Skills:
        • Previous Professional Services consulting experience
        • Industry certification such as CCIE, CCNA, CISSP, CCSE, MCSE desirable Essential Functions
          • Identify and assess customer information technology infrastructure regarding risks and vulnerabilities.
          • Significant technical and operational knowledge of:
          • Firewalls
          • Network intrusion detection
          • Security audits, diagnostics, forensic tools
          • Web access controls
          • Advanced authentication methods
          • Management tools and procedures
          • Enterprise security programs
          • Be able to perform:
          • Network or Application Vulnerability Assessments
          • Penetration Tests
          • Network or Application Architecture Assessments Responsibilities and Additional Duties
            • Work with minimal supervision as an individual contributor and as lead for engagement team when appropriate
            • Manage technical contribution of matrix team(s) of security consultants and engineers toward successful project completion.
