The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for leading a portfolio of enterprise-level accounts and for these accounts' growth, management, retention, and satisfaction of these accounts. This role will partner with customers to address their measured digital landscape, meet objectives, and hit their business and technology goals. The ideal candidate will have proven account management and sales experience and deep experience in digital transformation and SAAS solutions.


    • Establish robust and long-term customer relationships to champion initiatives that drive decisions across digital channels and business units, maintaining 100% account retention and growing them
    • Become an expert on the features and benefits of all Brightspot products and services
    • Maintain consistent communication with a set of Strategic Account customers, identify new business areas/opportunities, and evangelize Brightspot products and services
    • Interface with other internal department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and identify and deliver new solutions for customers
    • Keep senior management apprised of key customer opportunities, potential risks, and other key nuances which affect the health of the business
    • Consistently achieve quarterly quotas and goals
    • Serve as the voice of the customer and share insights and feedback to shape Brightspot products and roadmap, and improve support processes aligned with needs. Success will partner with delivery, platform, support and managed services teams to drive changes and strategies that align with customer goals and needs.
    • 5+ years of previous enterprise sales and account management experience, ideally within a consulting and/or technology organization
    • 5+ years experience closing enterprise level SaaS sales
    • Passionate about digital transformation and cultivating strong customer relationships
    • Ability to establish, develop and build relationships at all levels, including technical, business, and executive leadership to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business
    • Intellectual agility and an entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and sense of urgency in acquiring and serving clients
    • Excellent sales, communication, presentation, and strong customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Experienced in building relationships with CXOs and business decision-makers
    • Documented record of exceeding sales and business objectives/quotas
    • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
    • Must have detailed organizational skills and the proven ability to prioritize work
    • Must be extremely customer focused and portray a "can do" approach to problem-solving
