Second Family, Inc. is now hiring for an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist processes and reports on accounts receivables, including reconciliation of A/R with aged trial balance (ATB). This person will also track and report on the attendance of the people we support in our program and assist with our annual audit process. This position also provides backup for payroll processing and assistance to our Chief Finance Officer (CFO).

This position requires a BS in Accounting, knowledge of DDA systems, and at least 2 years of A/R experience. Experience with accounts payable and payroll is a plus.

This position requires an experienced, independent professional who works well within a team environment.

Qualifications

• A BS degree in accounting from a four-year college or university is required
• At least two years of experience working in accounts receivable (A/R)
• Experience with accounts payable and payroll is a plus
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor, peers, individuals, and families
• Must be able to deal with confidential information appropriately
• Must demonstrate the ability to resolve problems and conflict effectively
